Counselling, Psychotherapy and Supervision in Ayrshire (CPSA) is a group of professionally qualified and experienced counsellors/psychotherapists who have come together to offer a range of talking therapies.
All of our counsellors/psychotherapists are accredited and registered with the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within BACP's Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. CPSA therapists have a wide and varied range of experience including working within the NHS, the public and voluntary sectors, schools, employee assistance programmes and private practice.
Counselling is a talking therapy that offers you an opportunity to find out more about yourself and help you with any issues that concern you. CPSA counsellors/psychotherapists are professionally trained to listen to you without judgement. Our counselling practitioners provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore any difficult feelings you may have.
Counselling may help you to cope with situations in life where there are no easy answers. It can help to talk to someone who is impartial: sharing your thoughts and hearing those thoughts in a therapeutic environment can bring relief and a sense of hope. With the counsellor alongside you, listening to and reflecting your experience, you may begin to see things more clearly and from different perspectives, facilitating changes within yourself and in your life that are right for you.
