Theoretical Approach

My theoretical approach is Psychodynamic/Integrative. We are shaped by events from childhood into adulthood and by all the relationships life offers us. In my therapeutic work, I explore the way in which the past can stay with us in the present in our thoughts and feelings about human experience. I offer a safe and confidential space where you will be listened to and become more able to live in a way that is more fulfilling and satisfying to you.

I have a long and varied experience as a Counsellor/ Psychotherapist working in the NHS, Schools, Voluntary Sector and private practice with people experiencing issues around abuse, addiction, anxiety, bereavement/loss, depression, relationships, self-esteem, trauma, life transition issues, personal development, personal process. I offer short and long-term work with individuals and groups. I also offer Counselling Supervision.
