Theoretical Approach

Working within the Person-Centred approach and responding to individual need, I value the working relationship between therapist and client. I believe that everyone has their own answers as to what is best for them. However, in times of difficulty and stress, we can feel overwhelmed and not know what to do or where to start in finding our own solutions. My aim is to be alongside you throughout your journey of exploration.  By offering you a genuine, understanding and accepting relationship that is free of judgements and assumptions, I hope it will be possible for you to feel free and safe to look at all aspects of your experiencing. Exploring your issues within a supportive, therapeutic relationship can help you to gain in self-acceptance, draw upon your own resources, have a greater understanding of yourself and enable you to make life choices that feel right for you.

Before training as a therapist, I worked in areas of management, administration, customer service and care. I hope to bring all my life experience and skills along with my professional training to my work with clients.
